| MARTIN MUSE is an Austin, TX based steel guitarist whose steel guitar and dobro work can be heard on the recordings of many of the top artists coming out of Austin including: Bruce Robison, The Derailers, Alejandro Escovedo, Charlie Robison, Tish Hinojosa, Eliza Gilkyson and many more. For the past 12 years he has been touring and recording with Robert Earl Keen. | JEFF HIMPELE is a cultural anthropologist and filmmaker based in Princeton, NJ. He is the author of Circuits of Culture: Media, Politics and Indigenous Identity in the Andes and has made documentary films such as the award-winning Incidents of Travel in Chichén Itzá and Shame On You!. He has taught at NYU and is now at Princeton where he directs the new VizE Lab for ethnographic data visualization in the Anthropology Department. |
